One Fine Afternoon Tea

How was Mid break guys? Travelling anywhere? Well, if you're not. You can try having afternoon tea with your friends, to catch up and to talk everything you have missed during the busy period of uni. I did catch up with my girls and we chose to have this afternoon tea just like the royals. Sydney has some places to sip a cup of royal tea, but we decided to have it at The Tea Room in the city. It was a nice place with a touch of European classics, the interior was made to build up the royal ambience as well as the table was set to met royal expectations. Right after you entered the room, you will feel as you were in a British Kingdom.

Then the waiter and waitress will show up with a tux and offer you choices of main menu and the afternoon tea set package.  I ordered a set of traditional afternoon tea, and I chose Earl Grey for the tea. When it came, I was very excited because it served with a very classic and sweet floral tiers suits all the plates and cups on the table. Oh I felt like having a real royal afternoon tea! Not to forget, the traditional afternoon tea has their sweets treat on the first tier such as chocolate cake, lemon muffin and fruit tart, then came to the second tier, the salty part, it has egg sandwich, tuna sandwich and the garlic crackers. Then finally the last tier came with a macaroon, a lemon meringue tart and a passion fruit biscuit. They're all mouth watering, arent they? But trust me, they don't taste as good as they look.

Enjoying Earl Grey
It's not worth it when it comes to the taste, but it's worth a try. The ambience, the good feeling of having royal afternoon tea, the time to catch up with friends. Well, to sum up, I would definitely recommend you to give it a try, but to my self I won't go back there because once is enough. After all, one fine afternoon tea with my finest ladies :)
